Mark

Terms of use

Effective 1 October 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Sylphx Limited (company number 16438428, registered in England and Wales, registered office 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX) for using Mark at mark.sylphx.com, including the studio and every image URL ("the Service"). By using the Service, including by embedding a Mark URL, you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Mark renders images from URLs, free of charge, with no account. We may add, change, rate-limit, suspend or remove any feature, style, parameter or route, and may block any URL, referrer or network, at our discretion and without notice.

2. Your content

You are responsible for the text, names and other content you place in a Mark URL and for where you embed the image. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to process, render, cache and serve that content as part of the Service. You must follow the acceptable use policy, which forms part of these terms.

3. Third-party names and data

Brand icons come from Simple Icons and other open icon sets. Brand names and logos are trademarks of their owners, and their availability in Mark does not imply endorsement or a licence to use them. Live images show public data from third-party services. We do not control that data and do not guarantee that it is accurate or current.

4. Open-source code

Mark's source code is licensed separately under the MIT licence. These terms govern the hosted Service at mark.sylphx.com.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided free, "as is" and "as available", without any warranty, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, availability or accuracy, to the fullest extent the law allows.

6. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, data or goodwill, and our total liability arising from the Service is limited to £100. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are not affected.

7. Indemnity

If you use the Service for a business, you will indemnify us against claims arising from your content or your breach of these terms.

8. Changes and ending

We may change these terms by publishing a new version here. Continued use after the effective date means you accept it. We may stop providing the Service to you at any time.

9. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction, except that a consumer may also bring proceedings where they live if their local law allows it.
